1. Xiaomi water purifier does not display water volume
Xiaomi water purifier does not display water volume mainly due to sensor failure, connection problems, power supply abnormalities, setting errors, or system bugs. This can be gradually solved by troubleshooting the sensor, checking the connection, restarting the device, resetting the system, and other methods.
1. Root cause analysis of core faults 1 Sensor malfunction • Flow meter sensor (detecting water flow/volume) or water level sensor damaged, resulting in inability to collect data • Sensor blocked by scale and impurities, signal transmission obstructed 2 Connection issues • Loose wiring and poor contact between sensor and motherboard • WiFi connection interruption (some smart models require network synchronization of data) 3 Abnormal power supply • Damaged adapter, loose plug causing insufficient power supply • Mainboard power module malfunction 4 Setting/system issues • Water volume display function not turned on (some models require manual setting) • System firmware bug or not updated to the latest version
2. Step by step troubleshooting and solution 1 Check the power supply and connection • Confirm that the adapter plug is securely plugged in and the power indicator light is on • Disconnect the power supply for 5 minutes and restart to observe if the display returns to 2 Clean the sensor • Close the inlet valve for rolling dust, disassemble the machine to clean impurities on the surface of the flow meter/water level sensor • Wipe the sensor contacts with a soft cloth to avoid using sharp tools 3 Check the network and settings • Open the Mi Home app to confirm that the device is online, enter the settings to enable "Water Volume Display
III. Preventive suggestions 1 Regularly (every 3-6 months) clean the filter element and sensor of the water purifier Avoid installing the machine in humid and high-temperature environments Update the Mi Home app and device firmware in a timely manner, and fix known bugs. 2. How to replace the Xiaomi 400g filtered water flow valve? The replacement of the Xiaomi water purifiers kitchen 400g flow valve (flow meter) requires a combination of tool operation and standardized procedures. Core operating procedures: 1. Fault diagnosis and material preparation. Fault confirmation: If the water purifier intermittently stops discharging water or the Mi Home app has no water volume statistics, it may be due to damage to the flow valve (flow meter). The flow valve is responsible for monitoring the water flow and providing feedback data to the main control board. Its failure will directly affect the stability of the effluent and data recording. Material procurement: The unit price of the flow valve is about 15 yuan/piece, and it is recommended to replace it in pairs (with a total price of about 30 yuan). You can search for "Xiaomi Water Purifier 400G Flow Meter" on the e-commerce platform to purchase. Attention should be paid to selecting compatible models to avoid compatibility issues.
